Two year Pre-University Program
A two year pre-university program based on the Cambridge A Levels and ALA’s unique curricula in Entrepreneurial Leadership, African Studies and Writing and Rhetoric.
Applicants should be 16-19 years and are selected based on the following criteria:
- Strong, ethical leadership
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Passion for Africa
- Commitment to service
- Academic achievement
Global Scholars Program
A three week, global leadership summer program for teens from around the world.
Applicants should be 15-19 years of age and demonstrate leadership potential, a desire to explore and an interest in community services. Applicants are drawn from across the world.
A study abroad experience for secondary students from around the world to develop as social innovators.
Limited to students in grades 10-12, including recent high school graduates. Applicants must display leadership potential, proven academic achievement, entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to public service.
Model African Union
A conference designed to provide young enthusiastic leaders with an opportunity to explore the inner workings of the African union.
Participants should be 15-19 years of age and enrolled in high school or 15-20 years of age and recently graduated from high school and not currently enrolled in tertiary institution. Teachers or staff from high schools registering students are eligible to serve as Faculty advisors.
Africa's premier award for young entrepreneurs actively running innovative social ventures or for-profit businesses with potential.
Applicants must be 15-22 years of age and have a running business or project in any field or industry. Groups/teams can apply, however one person must apply for the prize on behalf of the group. This individual must be one of the founding members. Finalists are selected for the ingenuity, scalability and demonstrated impact of their business
