Vincent Juma Tago joined African Leadership Academy in August 2009 as Chemistry and Physics teacher. He started his teaching career at Alliance High School in Kenya where he was the Head of Subject- Chemistry. While at Alliance, he received recognition from the National Committee for Congress on Science and Technology for coaching the students who participated up to the National level.

Thereafter, he taught at a number of high profile international schools in Kenya including St. Mary’s and Rusinga schools in Nairobi. Vincent has a wide experience in teaching various curricula; the Kenyan KCSE, International Baccalaureate (IB), Cambridge IGCSE and A levels, and Edexcel GCSE and A levels. He also has a wide experience in administration of international examinations; having been Examinations Officer in a number of international schools. Vincent is an examiner for International Baccalaureate (IB) Chemistry, and has been an examiner for KCSE Physics practical paper.

Vincent has been involved in Scientific Research Programme and coaching of recreational sport- table tennis at African Leadership Academy. He holds Bachelor of Education (Science) from Kenyatta University, Kenya. He is currently pursuing post-grad studies in Socio-Education with the University of South Africa (UNISA). He is married with two children.
