Alison Rosdeth, English Faculty
Alison Rodseth has spent the last 10 years teaching English at various educational institutions
in South Africa. These educational institutions range from community schools in Yeoville, to the
Living Link College for adults with special needs, to the ISASA-affiliated Dainfern College in the
northern suburbs of Johannesburg. She completed her honours degree in Education with distinction at
the University of the Witwatersrand where she focused on racial integration in former model C
schools. Her key performance area is teaching writing, a skill which she has facilitated in
secondary school and corporate contexts. She is passionate about curriculum development and has
spent time writing materials for educational publishers.
Alison comments: "I am committed to living out my African identity in the exciting field of
education; what an opportunity ALA will provide!" Alison is passionate about photography, art,
gardening and, of course, reading.
