A Message to Nominators from Dean Khaemba

Dear Friend:

African Leadership Academy depends on a network of individuals and organizations across Africa and around the world who are committed to exposing outstanding young people to opportunities that will help them realize their potential. Thank you for nominating a student to African Leadership Academy.

As you consider your nomination, please note that we seek 16-19 year old students from all backgrounds who meet our selection criteria: academic excellence; leadership potential; entrepreneurial spirit; dedication to public service; and passion for Africa. If you know of an outstanding young leader who meets these criteria, please share their information with us! We have included some profiles of nominated students for your reference as you consider your nomination.

Please remember that the more detail you can provide on our online nomination form, the more deeply we can engage with your nominee. We ask that you not only give us a sense of the students’ skills and academic preparation but also share with us the reasons you believe the nominated student is a strong fit for African Leadership Academy.
