ALA and Your Student: A Message to Counselors and Teachers

Dear Teacher, Counselor, or Principal:

Thank you for visiting our website to learn more about African Leadership Academy and for your continued efforts on behalf of young leaders from across the African continent.

If you have an outstanding student who you think has the potential to change Africa – and who you think would be dramatically helped in reaching their potential by attending our institution – we encourage you to nominate your student.

If you have a student who has chosen to apply to African Leadership Academy and has been named a finalist for admission, you may be asked to write a letter of reference on behalf of your student. These letters of reference are extremely important to the admissions committee – we deeply value the thoughts and insights shared by educators who know our applicants well. On this website we have included some of our thoughts and guidelines about writing a letter of reference.
