An Unparalleled Educational Experience
At African Leadership Academy, you will experience a unique curriculum that prepares you for university and beyond. You will complete an internationally-recognized A-level academic curriculum in addition to our innovative courses in leadership, entrepreneurship, and African studies. You will have a mentor – an African leader - who will provide individualized coaching. You will be exposed to various guest speakers who are leaders in their fields. And you will design and implement a culminating service project of your choosing.

African Leadership Academy will help each student identify and gain entrance to a leading global university. You will be assigned an experienced university placement counselor to help you navigate the university application process and identify sources of financial aid and scholarships. After beginning your university studies, ALA career counselors will help you find exciting internship opportunities during holiday periods with organizations in the African Leadership Academy network. And after completing your university studies, our career counselors will help you to find exciting, challenging, and fulfilling careers on the continent.

At African Leadership Academy, you will wake up in a comfortable room that you share with only one roommate. You will attend classes in our modern, high-tech classrooms and might spend an afternoon reading on the lovely green lawn in our central quad before playing a game on the sports fields. Our 350 seat auditorium and world-class videoconferencing facilities will bring you closer than you imagined to our renowned guest speakers, and you can begin making your dreams a reality in our top-of-the-line design laboratory.
