Buy a Brick

The Academy will construct a Founders’ Wall as a prominent feature/monument on the school’s grounds. You have the opportunity to buy a brick that will be engraved with your name and used to build this wall. By purchasing a brick, you will be officially recognised and considered as a lifelong supporter of the African Leadership Academy. Your grandchildren and great-grandchildren will see your legacy and contribution to Africa’s development on this wall when they visit the school several decades or even centuries from now.

How to purchase your brick on the Founders’ Wall

Step 1: Choose your brick category

Bricks numbered from 486 to 999:     R1,000 or US$170
Bricks numbered from 338 to 485:     R2,000 or US$350
Bricks numbered from 200 to 337:     R2,500 or US$415
Bricks numbered from 100 to 199:     R3,500 or US$580
Bricks numbered from 1 to 99:           R5,000 or US$850

The most prominent and central bricks in the wall are the most expensive.

Purchase via Account Transfer
First, choose your brick category and brick engraving. Our engraving allows for 3 lines per brick, with up to 14 characters per line including spaces.

Next, purchase your brick by making a transfer into African Leadership Academy’s bank account (details below).

Finally, send an email to info@africanleadershipacademy.org to let us know your first and last name, mailing address and preferred brick engraving. ALA reserves the right to disallow any name due to offensive content or excessive length.
