To date, ALA has raised over $1 million from visionary individuals throughout the world who believe in the potential of young leaders to transform a continent. Innovative Foundations
Foundations including Echoing Green and the Skoll Foundation have seen the potential for our model to have a transformative impact on the continent. By building a broad, pan-African network of leaders and disseminating a unique curriculum across the African continent, ALA can have a dramatic impact on Africa’s development.

Forward-Thinking Corporations
Leading African and global corporations including the Boston Consulting Group and the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) of South Africa have provided ALA with a wide range of financial and in-kind support, including philanthropic contributions, consulting services, equipment donations, sponsorship of ALA fellows and interns, and low-interest loan financing.
