Efua Adabie

Efua is from Ghana, with over 20 years’ experience as an educator. She has a background in Chemistry and has been the lead for science curriculum for a variety of schools, in Ghana and the UK. Believing in the power of education to impact change, she has been involved in STEM Teacher training, and currently serves on a number of boards and committees with a focus on education.
Efua is passionate about Africa’s scientific advancement being inclusive, she has a master’s in Education, Gender and International development from University College London and was previously the pioneering headteacher of a pan-African STEM NGO for girls. Efua is confident that her diverse experiences in science education will contribute to a positive change on the African continent and beyond.
