Nicole Biscombe

Admissions Officer

Nicole was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. She holds a Master’s degree in French literature from the University of Stellenbosch. She is an experienced and passionate educator having taught from primary to tertiary level since graduating with her BA in Humanities in 2012. After completing her Honours in French, she spent time abroad as a teaching assistant in Angers, France. She worked as a part-time lecturer at the University of Stellenbosch after completing her Master’s before going on to work as the French subject head and teacher at Rhenish Girls’ High. After this Nicole started working at the Valenture Institute as a content developer, creating course content for Junior High and IGCSE French. She then took on an online teaching role at the Valenture Institute. From here, she went on to teach at Teneo Online High School before joining African Leadership Academy as an admissions officer in March 2023.
