Sheila Agiti is from Ghana. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University and a Master of Science degree from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. Her professional interests are in economic development, youth empowerment and education in Africa. Sheila’s career at ALA started off as a Princeton-in-Africa fellow during which she worked as a Career and Internship Coordinator and well as a Community Service Coordinator. She later moved to the United States and began working closely with ALA alumni. Sheila previously worked at the African Center for Economic Transformation in Accra. Sheila has served on the boards of Teach for Ghana and Youth Alliance for Leadership and Development in Africa (YALDA) in various capacities. She loves to cook and bake, and is proud of how her banana bread and oxtail stew always turn out.
