Ernest Yaw Asante

Ernest is a member of the African Studies Department, Residential Life Department, and Advisory program.

Ernest teaches Geography where he prepares the students for the Cambridge International Examination (CAIE). In addition, he teaches African Futures, an internally designed course aimed at exposing students to current and future challenges on the continent and possible solutions.

Prior to joining ALA, Ernest taught at SOS-Hermann Gmeiner International College in Tema. Apart from teaching International Baccalaureate (IB) Geography, Ernest was also the coordinator of Creativity, Activity, Service; one of the essential elements of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.

Ernest is a member of the Residential Life Department where he works with three hall masters to make the dormitories a home for the students. Ernest is part of the Advisory program where he supports seven students in their ALA journey.
