Eva Wakam

Eva is a Partnerships & Recruitment Associate for Francophone Sub-Saharan Africa at ALA.

She works with ALA’s Marketing and Admissions teams to spread the word about the Academy, identify talent, and accompany them in their application process. Eva spends most of her time visiting schools and partners, physically when need be, but mostly keeping relationships through emails, phone calls and text messages.

Eva joined ALA in 2016 as an Admissions Reader. Previously, Eva served as an intern at Air Liquid in Johannesburg South Africa and she was part of a project management team for the building of a new industry in Cameroon: designing machines, processes and capital expenditure.

Eva is passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, and problem-solving. She enjoys traveling and discovering new places around the world.
