Louise Saunders

Head of Creative Arts and Events

Louise is the Head of Department for Creative Arts and Events. She serves as a member of the teaching Faculty at ALA and facilitates the Events on campus.

She supports the academic growth and development of students interested in creativity and the arts at ALA. She oversees the events that take place on campus with the intention to celebrate and learn from the achievements of our community members, to bond as a community through our diversity, to engage with each other academically and to transition our students in their leadership journeys on campus.

Previously she joined the teaching staff at Crawford College Sandton as the HOD of Music in 2015. In 2017 she became the Curriculum Leader for the Arts where she headed up a team of Creative Arts teachers.

Louise is part of the Advisory programme where she takes on the role of mentor to a number of Year 1 students.
