I came to ALA for the students, but I stayed because of the colleagues – the staff and faculty who are the heartbeat of this place. With them, I get to learn every day. I get to be challenged and I get to grow. With them, the work is more fun. The work becomes more meaningful because it is done with people I care about.”
Clubs and Societies, and Sports at African Leadership Academy are a part of the Residential Life program. This stream of student engagement aims to help them discover and explore their passions and interests, nurture new skills and knowledge, understand societal needs, balance learning and recreation, and teach them how to integrate their personal interests into the community on-campus, and back home.
The Clubs and Societies space is also a space where students practice leadership in facilitating, planning and mentoring peers towards specific goals and initiatives.
