Ngosa Mupela is a Zambian graduate of the African Leadership Academy class of 2010. He is an executive at the Close the Gap (CTG) Group of companies whose mission is to bridge the digital divide across the developing world by sourcing and delivering of high-quality affordable ICT equipment clients who otherwise would be unable to afford them.
He joined Close the Gap in Mombasa in 2019 and has been instrumental in building up its capabilities to source, refurbish and distribute ICT equipment in Africa. He manages CTG’s finance function and is also the Investment Manager of Close the Gap’s Venture Fund targeting pre-Series A African technology startups.
He is a Partner in the investment readiness and impact venture capital investment advisory firm Bid Capital Partners one of Close the Gap initial portfolio investments to grow their presence in Kenya.
He began his career at Dalberg Capital in 2016 as a generalist with a keen interest in ICT for development across multiple continents. He has worked in several practice areas including but not limited to ICT for Development, Humanitarian Finance, Emerging Market Capital Finance, Higher Education Finance, Agriculture Finance, Clean Energy Finance and Development Impact Bonds.
