Thokoza Mjo

Thokoza works in the Growth and Entrepreneurship division at African Leadership Academy to strengthen support to very young Africans with leadership potential to pursue and succeed in entrepreneurship.

Thokoza is responsible for building and leading a specialised team that not only designs and delivers tailored entrepreneur support for some of Africa’s youngest, high-potential entrepreneurs, but also packages and shares what works with other education and entrepreneur support organisations.

Thokoza is a finance graduate by training and an entrepreneur by experience. She started working in the financial sector as an investment analyst before pursuing her entrepreneurial ambitions and founded Beyond the Lemonade Stand in 2014 where she designed and delivered entrepreneurial support for very young people in partnership with clients such as the Gordon Institute of Business Science, the City of Johannesburg and the South African National Department of Education to mention a few.
