Anne Kamau-Mwawuda

Anne works with both Residential Life and The Writing and Rhetoric Department to ensure that the Two-Year Diploma organisational objectives are met.
Anne spends most of her time in the Academy either in Writing and Rhetoric Classes or in the dorms of Twagarie House. She considers herself to be in a very unique position of being able to witness the students achieve milestones in these two spaces in the Academy.
Previously, Anne worked at Potterhouse School starting in 2009 as an English and Literature teacher. In the nine years that she served, she rose to head the Departments of Languages and School Events.
Anne is a core advisor to a group of six, vibrant, budding African leaders as part of ALA’s Advisory Program, is a coach to the Honour Council and is also one of the Conveners of the Teachers’ Guild.
