Marylyn Scott
JAMAICA
Marylyn works with a dynamic team of committed staff to counsel students and their parents about the college and scholarship application processes and facilitate the placement of ALA graduates in university and other post-graduate opportunities.
Marylyn manages a caseload of students whom she guides through the college search and application processes, supervises staff, engages with external enrolment management representatives to identify and create access to opportunities for ALA students, and collaborates with staffulty to enable students and their parents to transition from ALA to university and other post-graduate opportunities.
Prior to joining ALA, Marylyn spent 15 years in progressively responsible roles in enrolment management at Mount Holyoke College, Bates College, Chatham University, and Bucknell University. Before college admissions she had many lives as a classroom teacher, college professor, an employee for the South Korean Ministry of Education, a flight attendant with United Airlines, and a community educator for the Alzheimer’s Association.
Marylyn hopes to be involved in Staffapella when the group is reborn.
