Prince oversees ALA’s Human Resources information systems and employee data for efficient and effective management of human capital at the Academy.
Prince is responsible for the recording of employee data for payroll processing and data analytics. He uses the same employee data to create profiles on the organisation’s recruitment and performance management systems. Prince ensures that the systems have clean and up to date data. He provides reports to various stakeholders as and when needed. In addition, he also has some responsibility in ALA’s recruitment, events planning and HR communications.
Prince has been with ALA for seven years. Prior to joining ALA, Prince worked with Discovery Health where he was part of the Learning and Development team. He was responsible for the hiring of graduates for Learnerships and Internships. He also managed the databases that captured the learner details and their movement within Discovery. Prince also served as an HR Trainee with Edcon. Here he coordinated the training and development of students who were part of Edcon’s Learnership progamme.
Prince was once part of the Global Scholars Program at ALA and enjoyed his role as an Educator to eight or so students on campus.
