Creative Arts and Events Admin Support

Tshiamo works with both the Creative Arts and Events teams to strengthen and enhance the students creativity inside and outside the classroom, as well as organising outstanding and professional events at the African Leadership Academy.

Tshiamo contributes in bringing the hype and excitement on campus by unleashing the talents and creativity of the students. She spends most of her time organising student and community events on campus which encourage both learning and bonding for the community.

Tshiamo worked as a Entertainment Production Coordinator for the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girl Dance Company in 2009 – 2011 where she was in charge of the logistics and communications with the production and artistic teams. From there, she joined the theatre industry from 2012 where she worked as a Stage Manager and Theatre Technician for various theatres in South African. She later joined Norwegian Cruise Line from 2018 where she traveled the world as their Entertainment Production Manager where she was in charge of the Production Cast, Guest Performers and Technicians.

Tshiamo mentors nine first and second-year Creative Arts and Events Interns on campus. She deeply values her role in empowering and teaching the youth who are inspired to pursue Arts, Culture and Events in the future.
