Global Programs Coordinator

Abigail works in the Global Programs team as a Coordinator for the Global Scholars Program Youth Entrepreneurial and Leadership Camp which takes place anually between June and August. She is also involved in coordinating and facilitating ALA’s international school visits program.
Abigail is responsible for planning, coordinating, recruiting and delivering ALA’s signature hosted programs – The Global Scholars Program (short holiday programs) and the School Visits program (hosting international school groups).

Abigail has been involved in missionary work, youth development and outdoor education for over 9 years. She has travelled throughout Europe and South Africa, designing and delivering programmes that creatively develop and enhance life skills in youth. Abigail worked with YFC South Africa and Germany for several years, training and mentoring young leaders within the organisation. Her eagerness to gain more experience led her to the United Kingdom where she managed events on a national level at an NPO called Limitless.

Abigail is an enthusiastic Board Member of the ACE and HOUSE Student Enterprise; she enjoys seeing students take ownership of their passion and turning it into their purpose. She also loves being an Advisory parent to six amazing second year students who teach her something new every day.
