Francis Chitawo
- Francis attended Bishop Mackenzie International School in Lilongwe, Malawi prior to African Leadership Academy.
- He acted as a marketer for a community garbage collection service called JAJ Investments in Lilongwe. In 4 months, Francis assisted the collection service in obtaining about 20 clients.
- He founded a social project called ‘Malawi Youth Agents of Change’. The project aims to assist the youth to acquire critical thinking, entrepreneurial and leadership skills.
- He is passionate about poetry, and is the Head of the ALA spoken word/poetry club, SPEAK.
- He is currently a Bezos scholar and he will attended the Aspen Ideas Festival in June of 2015.
