Lerato Kubuzie

Lerato works with both AL for Agribusiness and AL for Infrastructure sectors coordinating activities that enable the team to provide sector communities with opportunities.

Her role encompasses building strong connections with partners and network members through network engagement activities. She spends her time planning, organising and evaluating network events. She also connects members to career-advancing opportunities, while providing coaching and support.

Lerato has diverse experience. Her career started in fashion retail at one of South Africa’s leading fashion brands where she grew in the organization, ultimately leading her team as a brand manager. She then moved to an industrial manufacturing company and tenured as the marketing and communications manager. She then worked with a startup company in logistics where her main role was business development. Later, she joined a law firm where she continued her passion for training and development by being responsible for training article clerks for a select group of niche law firms for approximately 4 years before joining ALA.
