As a design educator, my focus is to inspire my student’s ability to be relevant beyond the classroom. With these values and commitment to continual learning, I intend to foster a sensitization of their role as leaders for growth and development in changing their local communities. There is always an opportunity for the application of Design for Social Impact. The challenge for students in developing countries is to become conscious and responsive in providing relevant solutions in their environmental, social, and economic contexts.
