Welcome to the (NEW) ALA Newsletter

Welcome to the (new!) newsletter from African Leadership Academy (ALA). This is the first in a regular monthly update we hope you will find interesting, informative and very much worth sharing.

We are celebrating our 10th year – a significant milestone on our path to developing the network of Africa’s future ethical, entrepreneurial leaders. The festivities began in September when we welcomed our 10th class with the opening of the new Pardee Learning Commons – keep reading for the various features this inspired.

October was a hive of activity on campus; we hosted Africa’s biggest awards for very young entrepreneurs ($100,000 USD invested!), with his Excellency, former President of Botswana  Festus Mogae, as our guest of honour. We’ve also had the privilege of hosting celebrated music star Yvonne Chaka Chaka.
