Jomo Erick

Jomo, born and raised in Kenya, is a trained engineer with interests in technology, agriculture, climate change, engineering and management. Prior to joining ALA, Jomo worked with numerous other organisations including Equity Group Foundation where he established himself as a scholar and professional. He has recently worked with rural farmers in Kenya to improve the food security situation in the country through a partnership with the European Union and is formerly a cofounder of a FinTech startup in Nairobi. Jomo enjoys mentoring young talent and is passionate about how Africans can work together to improve the future of the continent.
He holds a BSc. Biomechanical Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and MSc. Public Management from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
