Julius Babawumi was born and raised in Osun State, Nigeria. He studied at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. He further obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and later became a certified professional teacher. Since 2012, he has been an International Baccalaureate (IB) Examiner. Julius has over twenty years of teaching and management experience, working with Nigerian (NECO), WASSCE, IGCSE, Advanced Level, and IB curricula. He has held various roles in notable international schools in Nigeria. His recent tenure as Head of the Science Department at Olashore International School led the department to excellence. He is currently the Head of Science at ALA. Julius enjoys reading and listening to music.
