Lukhanyo Sizani is an educator, sports leader, and student development professional who recently joined African Leadership Academy as a Hall Head. Before joining ALA, he served as Head of Sport and Extra-Curricular Activities at Drakensberg Boys Choir School, where he also taught IsiZulu and Life Skills.
Lukhanyo holds a B.Ed. in Senior and FET Phase Education from UNISA, with majors in Languages and Life Orientation/Physical Education. His previous experience includes roles at TuksSport High School and St Martin’s School, where he taught across multiple subjects and grades while contributing to sports development, athletics, student mentorship, and co-curricular programs.
Throughout his career, Lukhanyo has been committed to the holistic development of young people. His experience across teaching, sports leadership, coaching, boarding and student support, mentorship, outdoor education, and extracurricular programming has equipped him to create communities where students feel supported, challenged, and empowered to thrive. As a Hall Head at ALA, he is passionate about fostering belonging, character, leadership, and personal growth.
