Owen Martin-Jones

Having grown up in Edinburgh, Scotland, Owen Martin-Jones has spent his professional career between Europe and East Africa. His first professional role took place in a Southern Region of Malawi, Mulanje, where he worked with the Scottish Malawi Foundation and the Malawian Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. Following this, Owen returned to the United Kingdom to study Journalism & Media. Having specialised in Broadcast Journalism and Documentary Production, Owen continued his career in Paris where he co-wrote a feature length documentary investigating governmental influences in the war of East Timor. Owen then spent two years in a senior partnerships role for an international non-profit, The Global Editors Network. Following this, he continued to work in partnerships at a Berlin-based technology startup, Opinary.
