Suzanne serves as the Chief of Staff in the Office of the CEO at the African Leadership Academy. She works closely with the CEO to advance the Academy’s strategic and operational priorities and initiatives.
Suzanne spent her first 7 years at ALA working on university access and helping students determine their post-secondary pathways. Prior to joining ALA, she worked as an English teacher and a college counselor at a start-up school in Somaliland.
Suzanne attended George Washington University in Washington, DC, and graduated with a degree in International Relations, specializing in Conflict & Security. Suzanne is deeply passionate about education and how it can transform lives and communities.
