We're thrilled to announce that African Leadership Academy students and alumni have been recognized by Cambridge Assessment International Examinations for their outstanding performance in the May/June 2023 A-level examinations! This year, six ALA students and alumni were honored in the South African Outstanding Learner Awards. 

Samantha Magowo '21 (Zimbabwe) was awarded Top in South Africa for A-Level Biology and was recognized for high achievement in Global Perspectives & Research.
Lele Aliga '21 (Uganda) was awarded Top in South Africa for A-Level Business Studies
Jeffrey Oduman '22 (Uganda) was awarded Top in South Africa for A-Level Mathematics
Samson Mwakabage '21 (Tanzania) was recognized for high achievement in A-Level Economics.
Katy Onyago '21 (Kenya) was recognized for high achievement in A-Level Literature.
Kaleab Azezew '21 (Ethiopia) was awarded the best across three A-Level subjects award in South Africa.

Congratulations to each of these students, as well as the dedicated teachers who guided them, advisors who mentored them, and parents who supported them every step of the way.
