An Evening of Art & Music at ALA

On April 25th, 2025, the ALA community came together for one of the term’s most anticipated events — the Term 3 Music Concert and Art Exhibition. The evening was a powerful celebration of student voice, creativity, and collaboration.

Curated by Ms. Sanyu Sematimba, Head of the Creative Arts Department, the event showcased a stunning range of talent.

The art exhibition transformed the foyer of ALA's auditorium into a gallery, filled with bold paintings, drawings, and powerful mixed-media pieces. Each artwork told a story, capturing the unique perspectives, cultures, and creative voices of ALA’s students.

Students, faculty, staff, and friends of ALA came together to celebrate the creativity of ALA’s artists. Creative Arts at ALA is a reminder that leadership at ALA isn’t just about policy or entrepreneurship — it’s also about self-expression and storytelling.

We are incredibly proud of every student who contributed to this special night, and deeply grateful to Ms. Ssanyu and the Creative Arts team for creating a space where creativity thrives and voices rise.
