Akudo Obi

Akudo was born in Nigeria but raised in Lesotho and South Africa. She is currently completing her doctoral research in Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Disease at the University of the Witwatersrand. Her research is focused on the antifungal efficacy of a medicinal plant for the treatment of oral candidiasis. Akudo holds prior degrees in Microbiology and Biochemistry from the University of Fort Hare. She enjoys exploring, taking pictures of nature and loves art.
