Karen has been at ALA since the very beginning, more than 12 years. She is a go-to resource for colleagues throughout the organisation because her knowledge of admissions is deep and broad. Karen manages the systems used by the admissions team, oversees records and data. Enabling the Admissions team to deliver on its core goals by optimizing administrative processes and executing operational activities.

Karen has worked in the retail industry specializing in commodities. Karen has managed 2 internet cafe’s while studying and she started a skills development- computer basic training program specifically for older female’s without any computer skills.
