The annual College Information Session tour, in which admissions officers from 20 universities travel the world looking for the best and brightest to recruit to their respective universities, made its return to ALA this past week.

Tour participants represented three countries this year, the United States, Canada and Spain. Participating schools from America were: Columbia, Cornell University, Grinnell College, Lamar University, Messiah College, Michigan State, Northeastern University, Penn State, Savannah College Of Art And Design, Truman State University, Tufts, The University Of Tampa, Wartburg College, and West Virginia University. Canadian schools represented were: Carleton University, Thompson Rivers University, University Of Waterloo, York University. One Spanish university, IE University also participated.
Similar to last year, an introductory session was followed by admissions officers setting up station around the school’s quad and students traveling the circle, meeting singularly and in groups with whichever schools interested them. Admissions officers were also allowed again this year to observe classes.
